Covid lockdown special Songbird causes Paul and Rick to discuss how dirty dishwashers are. Paul apologises to the indigenous people of North Sentinel Island. 
During the episode, a real-life YouTube songbird Anne Reburn is mentioned.

Drive-By Cinema, Episode 27, Nothing Really Happens

Paul shares hints on handling recalcitrant servants, the joys of sitting down to pee, and discusses with Rick some bold menu suggestions for a potential cafe. Meanwhile, in the movie, Nothing Really Happens. 
A poem was inspired by talk of peeing methodologies:
A bladder is a bladder and it wouldn't really matter
Whether sitter of a stander
What you're saying is just crazy, seems to me that you're just lazy
....

Some people's foreheads are too big for Paul's liking in 2017 horror Get Out. Gamestop and squeezed shorts, 80's sitcoms and what foley is.

Paul recounts the tale of being the victim of a voodoo hex, and explains the significance of red solo cups as Rick and Alastair discuss the 2018 movie Hereditary.

They do make them like they used to: 1970s horror wannabe The Conjuring (2013) has Rick exercised about exorcism. All aboard the ghost train, but make sure you can get a good grip on your stiff round doorknob with wet hands in the bathroom.

Drive-By Cinema, Episode 21, Midsommar

A journey to the sunlit uplands, a society led by a blond-haired inbred idiot, all ending up in a horror-show. Sound familiar? Ari Aster's 2019 allegory for Brexit Midsommar is the film. Paul scorns the swedes for finding amusement in gory horror, and yet laughs heartily all the way through.
